Wonderful. Such friendly and helpful staff. I stopped by with my daughter when it was very busy but they still offered us a little table for 2 which was lucky and very kind considering how busy they were. Attentive staff, lovely menu. We had crepes and drinks. Can't fault it, really well made and the coffee was excellent. Beautiful room, the doors to the park left open which was lovely to watch the rain as we had our hot drinks. We will absolutely be back to try the savoury menu, I definitely advise you to book ahead as it's understandably busy there :)Authentic french cuisine - do recommend the croque monsieur. Eat a light breakfast - trust me you'll want something sweet to pair with the coffee for afters. Staff are lovely and the cafe is fully up to date with Covid regulations. There are tables to sit inside and out to watch the world go by on a lazy afternoon.
Fantastic food and great service. The daily specials board offered a great choice alongside the French menu. We’ll definitely be back

Authentic french galette and crêpes. Great for gluten free as galettes are made from buck wheat plus they have a selection of gluten free cakes. Not the cheapest but very good quality.
Lovely ambience and friendly, courteous staff. I ordered the special galette of the day, which was delicious and really generous. My initial opinion was that it was the best galette I’d had this side of Paris, but then revised it to the best galette I’d had ever! I wish I lived nearer!

Highly recommended; husband (French) and wife team provide friendly service, and a varied range of food from Tarte au citron to a selection of imaginative lunches. Told that once a month offer an evening meal with special menu. Location v pleasant as attached to art gallery and arts and crafts shop, inside the park, and beside the water. Mainly regular visitors who seem to love the place but several tourists had discovered it too.Lovely spot, friendly staff, do really nice cakes, pastries and lunches...
Fantastic lunch here today. Turned up on spec with no booking, was very busy but still got a table. The savoury crepes were amazing, would definitely recommend. They advised us when ordering there would be a wait for food given how busy it was, but we had only a short wait and food was well worth it.

Really enjoyed my lunch made with quality ingredients, shows the chef cares about customer experience. The staff are very accommodating and courteous. This restaurant stands out and it’s a lovely place to dine when you visit Bideford with the added bonus of a very interesting art gallery and shop.

I find breakfast hit and miss when I try new places but the food here was tremendous. Excellent service and I highly recommend the classic savory crepe for breakfast, it’s an absolute feast 😎

- The falafel and roasted cauliflower were scrumptious.
French chef owned, great food, nicely cooked. Not a large place be best to book a table before you go for a meal, but customers have gone in for just a coffee and something to eat. Pot luck if an empty table is available.
- Parking
- Parking in a short or long term. Council owned. About a 100 yards from Bidiford Town and this cafe. There are other carparks near they are short term parking.
